Carole King Beautiful

September 6, 2017 @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Carole King Beautiful BroadwayOther than actually attending a Broadway show in person, there is almost nothing I love more than speaking about Broadway!

If you share my passion for great Broadway theater and great music, you absolutely do not want to miss this unique multimedia presentation on the Tony award-winning best musical “Carole King: Beautiful.” This superb show is a stunning and  powerful musical, rich with nostalgia and familiar songs.

More than that, “Beautiful” is the biography of a woman who changed popular culture as well as a biography of the late 1950s and the  early 1960s. Carole King wrote music that sold millions of copies Carol King beautiful Broadwayand made stars  out of many performers.

Carole King was extremely talented. But she also an extremely young woman, a mother and a daughter working in what was traditionally a man’s world. One of the many fascinating subplots of “Beautiful” is the story of Carole King negotiating the sexism and excitement of the 1960s as she worked her way to the top of the pop music industry.

We will also examine Carole King’s absolutely fascinating personal biography as well as taking a long  multimedia look at this brilliant Broadway production.
