Lee Harvey Oswald was only 24 years when he was killed. But his 24 years of life are as mysterious and controversial as the life of any 24-year-old ever!
So who was he? Was Lee Harvey Oswald a “semi-educated hillbilly with delusions of grandeur” (in the words of Stephen King) or a super smart, highly trained CIA assassin, or a Mafia hit man or simply a “patsy” who somehow didn’t know what he was doing?
His life had been such a failure that the few official documents about him are testaments to his existence as a loser. School report cards that indicate his unwillingness to comply with rules and his inability to stop committing acts of violence. A string of firings from menial jobs. Wife abuse. Forced psychiatric care. A wobbly military record.
And then came 11/22/63.
