Our monthly meeting will discuss the new movie “The Big Short.” this very ambitious film attempts to make complex financial transactions and the collapse of the mortgage industry during the last years of the George W. Bush administration into entertainment.
Our second half will be an in-depth look at the Alfred Hitchcock classic, ” Rear 
Window.”
Rightly regarded as one of the greatest of all American movies, it continues to perplex, amuse and divide audiences more than 50 years after its release. It raises fascinating questions about how we perceive the real world and how we perceive the movies. Three sparkling performances, and ever shifting point of view and a fascinating script make this a great movie.
