Our monthly meeting will discuss the new movie Trumbo. Dalton Trumbo was one of Hollywood’s greatest screenwriters. He was also one of the greatest martyrs of the infamous blacklist.
Our second half will be an in-depth look at the Stanley Kubrick classic, “Dr. Strangelove.”
Rightly regarded as one of the greatest of all American movies, it continues to perplex, amuse and divideĀ audiences more than 50 years after its release.Ā A dark comedy about the end of the world, it makes for a rich conversation.
