The Chicago Cubs – 1876 – 1945

During dismal errors of repeated failure of the Chicago Cubs, fans were often heard to exclaim  Cubs bad century“Anyone can have a bad century!” After World War II, the Cubs were, generally, very bad baseball to! However, in this fascinating, one-of-a-kind  multimedia presentation,  we will look at the early years the Chicago Cubs. From 1900 through the end of the 1930s, the Cubs were  perennially a very good team that often appeared in the World Series.

The best players in early Cubs history are heavily represented in baseball’s Hall of Fame. If you think Ryne Sandberg was the greatest second baseman in cub history, you should probably know more about Rogers Hornsby and Billy Herman.  Jake Arrietta had an amazing year itching in 2015. But did you know that a cub pitcher – Three Finger Brown – Mordecai_Brown_3_fingersone year led the National League run average, complete games, shutouts, innings pitched, AND saves!  Hack Wilson, Stan Hack, Phil Cavaretta, Kiki Cycler and Cap Anson  are just some colorful players whose amazing careers will come to life as we look at how the Chicago Cubs will once dominant team in the National League! You won’t want to miss the rare video clips, amazing stories and hilarious legends that surround our favorite baseball team!
