SUMMARY:Black Friday: The Assassination Of Abraham Lincoln
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for some high energy history?\n \nWhen new clients ask me\, “What is your best presentation?” This is the one I point them to. I have been fascinated by the assassination of Abraham Lincoln for as long as I can remember. Unlike so many ridiculous conspiracy theories that float around the Internet\, the murder of Pres. Lincoln was the result of the terrorist conspiracy. You will be amazed by the personalities\, the strange coincidences\, the tragic mistakes and the far-reaching consequences of this successful act of terrorism. \nDrawing on my skills as a historian and as a dramatist\, the dramatic events come to life with an explosive\, clear\, unforgettable focus. You become swept up in the tide of events that would change the nation forever.  This fascinating presentation has earned standing ovations across the USA And I am proud to present it to you. \n \n Want to learn more?\n Click here to read the unexpected fates of the others who were in the box with Pres. Lincoln that night. This short article will give you a glimpse of the strange effects of the assassination. If you are fascinated by Lincoln as a person\, click here to read an article about my favorite movie portrayal of Lincoln \n \nand click here to read my response to truth and fiction in the popular Steven Spielberg “Lincoln” movie.  And you can click here to read about the mind of Lincoln – how he decided to declare a national day of Thanksgiving in the middle of the bloodiest war in American history. \n I promise this will be a presentation you will long remember! \n A Bonus!\nClick here for a real treat. On the old game show\, “I’ve Got a Secret” the last known living witness to the assassination of Pres. Lincoln by the terrorist\, John Wilkes Booth\, made an appearance on February 9\, 1956. While his memory of the events is not reliable\, I still think it is an amazing thing to be able to see!

SUMMARY:History Vs. the Movies: Mississippi Burning
DESCRIPTION: History Vs. the Movies: Mississippi Burning\nMississippi Burning: The Civil Rights Era is one of the most exciting\, important\, and electrifying eras in American history. \nIt had everything from a cinematic standpoint: dynamic lead characters\, powerful and determined villains\, mystery\, mood\, motivation\, and manipulation. Nonetheless\, movies about the era have generally not been hits\, and despite the hype about Selma\, no great masterpiece of filmmaking has yet emerged. “Mississippi Burning”  is a brilliant film but utter nonsense from a historical point of view. “Selma” is a maddening jumble. In its sections on Martin Luther King\, it is extraordinary. In its sections on Lyndon Johnson\, it is entirely misleading. “Ghosts of Mississippi” is an earnest and well-made film about the trial of the murderer of Medgar Evers. However\, unless you already knew quite a bit about Medgar Evers\, you would leave the film wondering who exactly he was. \nSome of the best films about the Civil Rights Movement have been made-for-TV films. Clark Johnson directed “Boycott”  for HBO\, and it combines arresting visuals with superb acting. The Rosa Parks made-for-TV movie was likewise excellent. Spike Lee directed an outstanding documentary\, “Four Little Girls.”  But so far\, a genuine cinematic masterpiece about the Civil Rights Era has eluded filmmakers. \nThis fast-moving and thought-provoking multimedia presentation will look at clips from some films about the Civil Rights Movement.   Our particular focus will be on “Mississippi Burning.” Using inside stories\, personal anecdotes\, and a clear timeline\, we will see how this brilliantly made film distorted history and changed America’s perceptions about the Movement. \nCheck this out: in “Mississippi Burning\,”  the FBI gets an invaluable ship to find where the bodies are buried. The screenwriter and director had to fictionalize where the tip came from. That is because the mystery informant had never been revealed. Working with the brilliant investigative reporter Jerry Mitchell\, I was able to help figure out where the tip had come from – Jerry uncovered the identity of the mysterious “Mr. X.” Click here to find out who he was! \n.

SUMMARY:1926 Time Capsule - America 100 Years Ago
DESCRIPTION:What was happening in America exactly 100 years ago? \nIn this annual installment of the popular Time Capsule series\, historian Barry Bradford transports audiences back to 1926— the roaring heart of the Jazz Age. \nIt was a year of glamour and growth — but also of breakthroughs and storms. \nIn 1926: \n• Robert Goddard launched the world’s first liquid-fueled rocket\, quietly opening the door to the Space Age.• Gertrude Ederle became the first woman to swim the English Channel\, stunning the world and returning home to a ticker-tape parade.• The devastating Great Miami Hurricane exposed the fragility of Florida’s booming real estate market.• Henry Ford helped reshape American labor by instituting the 40-hour work week. \nMeanwhile: \n• Queen Elizabeth II\, Marilyn Monroe\, and Dick Van Dyke were born. \n\n\n\n\n• America lost Harry Houdini\, Annie Oakley\, and Robert Todd Lincoln.• George Gershwin was composing music that would define American sound.• The Chicago American Giants of the Negro Leagues won a dramatic World Series championship. \nThrough news headlines\, sports\, music\, film\, and cultural milestones\, this richly illustrated multimedia program brings 1926 to life — and places it in context. \nWhat did Americans believe about their future? How much did consumer items cost? What signs of change were already there? \nStep inside the Time Capsule and experience 1926 as if you were there. \nCOST\nThe program is available for a minimum contribution of $5.00\, which helps support my work and allows me to continue offering engaging content. \nPAYMENT OPTIONS \nCash/Check\nPayable to: Barry Bradford\nMail to:\nBarry Bradford\nP.O. SUMMARY:George Washington: The Perfect Man For America
DESCRIPTION:George Washington is America’s greatest hero.  He was our greatest soldier.  He was also our greatest President.  His contemporaries already knew that he was a man whose importance to the nation could never be questioned.  One of the most honored statesmen of the day had this to say when Washington died: “First in war\, first in peace\, and first in the hearts of his countrymen.” \n \nGeorge Washington was tall\, athletic\, and absolutely fearless.  Yet his military career was cut short before Congress appointed him to be the commanding General\, the head of the Continental Army.  Click here to read a fascinating account of why he is still the highest-ranking American military officer of all time.  Although we remember him as a great General\, his first year of command was disastrous! \nBut then at the Battle of Trenton. General Washington’s courage\, daring\, and heroic leadership became evident to the world.  That battle is best remembered for the breathtaking Christmas crossing of the Delaware River.  Still\, it also holds the amazing distinction of being the first military battle ever fought in an urban setting!  More importantly\, the Battle of Trenton directly changed the course of the history of America – and the entire world!  It is the single most important battle in the history of the USA. \n \nClick here to read more about why the Battle of Trenton is so important to the history of the world. \nAfter the Revolution\, of course\, Washington’s fame and importance only grew.  As the first President of the United States\, he helped turn America from a series of promises laid out in the Declaration of Independence into a living Republic that continues to shine as a beacon of freedom and hope to people and nations around the world. \nThis multimedia presentation will offer a new perspective on the personality of the greatest American of all time! \n  \n\nCOST\nThe program is available for a minimum contribution of $5.00\, which helps support my work and allows me to continue offering engaging content.

SUMMARY:Who Killed JFK – Historian Presents a Modern Analysis
DESCRIPTION: Who Killed JFK?\n I’ll Tell You! \n \nFREE ON ZOOM! \nThe murder of John F. Kennedy on November 22\, 1963\, shocked the nation. A suspect was quickly arrested and subsequently murdered. President Lyndon Johnson appointed a blue ribbon committee – the Warren Commission – to answer the question: who killed JFK? \nThey concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald was the sole assassin. Immediately\, the public was skeptical. Stephen King described Oswald as “a semi-educated hillbilly with delusions of grandeur.” How could such an insignificant loser pull off such a dastardly crime? And why did Jack Ruby\, accused of being a Mob member\, kill Oswald? \nWe have been through with whispered knowledge of conspiracies\, confessions\, and coverups. And so the public has asked for an explanation of the “magic bullet.” \nAnd the contradictory witness statements. \nAnd Oswald’s shadowy past. \nAnd all of the “secret files.” \nAnd all of the conspiracy theories. \nAnd all of the “mysterious deaths” associated with the assassination? \nBooks\, articles\, movies\, and documentaries have raised innumerable questions about who killed JFK. \nWho Killed JFK – Computer Analysis\nSo who killed JFK? I will attempt to answer as many of these questions as possible. First\, I will attempt to separate historical fact from theory & speculation. Second\, I will show what the historical record actually indicates happened. We have access to much more information today than the Warren Commission had in 1963/4 or the House of Representatives had in 1977. Third\, we will examine what modern computer forensics can tell us about crime. For instance\, the Warren Commission had access to the “Zapruder Film.”  Today\, we can use computers to enhance and analyze the film. We can use modern technology to analyze the path of each bullet that was fired. \nWho Killed JFK – Computer Analysis \nAnd we can use computers to isolate the mysterious sounds a Dallas motorcycle patrolman captured.  In 1977\, the House of Representatives believed that the recording showed four shots fired in Dealy Plaza.  The National Academy of Science\, among many other groups\, have taken the same sound recordings and used state-of-the-art technology to analyze them. What do we know now? \nYou may disagree with my conclusions\, but you will definitely learn a lot and come away with a new perspective on the historical record of who killed JFK. \n

SUMMARY:1925: Life in America 100 Years Ago
DESCRIPTION:Step back to 1925\, the heart of the Roaring Twenties\, when jazz ruled the airwaves\, flappers danced the Charleston\, and speakeasies thrived under Prohibition. This was a year of cultural transformation\, as F. Scott Fitzgerald published The Great Gatsby\, revealing the glitz and pitfalls of the American Dream\, while  Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington brought jazz into the mainstream. On the political front\, Calvin Coolidge presided over a booming economy\, and innovation flourished with inventions like the first mechanical television. \n1925 was also a year of contrasts. While the Scopes Monkey Trial sparked a national debate on science versus religion\, the Harlem Renaissance was in full swing\, reshaping literature and the arts. In entertainment\, silent film stars like Charlie Chaplin\, Rudolph Valentino\, and Buster Keaton captivated audiences\, while the first New Yorker magazine hit newsstands\, offering a new perspective on culture and humor. Consumer prices\, such as 54 cents for a gallon of gas\, highlight the economic reality of the time. Dick Van Dyke\, Malcolm X\, Johnny Carson\, and Robert F Kennedy were all born during the amazing year of 1925. \nThis fast-moving multimedia program brings 1925 vividly to life with visuals\, music\, and storytelling. Perfect for history buffs and culture enthusiasts\, this presentation will immerse you in the dazzling highs and defining struggles of a year that forever shaped America. Sign up now and take a journey back to a time of innovation\, contradiction\, and unforgettable style. \n================================================== \n

SUMMARY:Battle Of Trenton - Turning Point For Humanity
DESCRIPTION:The Battle Of Trenton\nThe iconic image of George Washington’s little boat crossing the Delaware River is firmly ingrained deep in the consciousness of America. Many people remember\, in general terms\, that General Washington took his army on rickety boats across an ice filled river to attack the enemy around Christmas time. The image of Washington Crossing the Delaware is so powerful and memorable that it has been used in  advertising\, comics\,\nand every avenue of popular culture. \nA deeper look at the Battle of Trenton shows us that it is actually an unmistakable turning point\, not only in the American Revolutionary war\, but in the history of the world. Although the Declaration of Independence made a breathtaking statement on the rights of man\, without the military victory at the Battle of Trenton\, the Revolutionary war and the Declaration  would merely be obscure footnotes in world history. They would just be anecdotal evidence of another failed revolt. \nWashington’s battle plan was audacious and his leadership was inspiring. After enduring a harrowing crossing of an ice filled river in a sleet storm in the middle of the night\, Washington’s men had to suffer through a nine mile march in a blizzard.  And then\, in less than ninety dramatic moments\, the Revolution was saved. The battle of Trenton was the first fight General Washington had won and is still the most important. Click here to read more about the battle of Trenton – the turning point in the history of the world.

We can use modern technology to analyze the path of each of the bullets that were fired. \nCOST\nThe program is available for a minimum contribution of $5.00\, which helps support my work and allows me to continue offering engaging content. SUMMARY:Who Killed JFK – Historian Presents a Modern Analysis (Part 1)
DESCRIPTION: Who Killed JFK?\n I’ll Tell You! \n \nIMPORTANT! \nIMPORTANT! \nOver two fascinating  evenings\, we’ll explore: \n\n\nThe events of November 22\, 1963\, in Dallas \n\n\nThe murder of Lee Harvey Oswald \n\n\nThe Warren Commission investigation \n\nThe Conspiracy Theories\n\nWhat modern forensics and newly declassified files reveal about who really pulled the trigger \n\n\nThe murder of John F. \nWe have been through whispered knowledge of conspiracies\, confessions\, and cover-ups. SUMMARY:Sam Giancana - Master Of The Mob\, Murderer Of JFK?
DESCRIPTION:Forget Al Capone. \nCapone ran the Chicago Outfit brutally and very publicly for just a couple of years before being sent to prison on income tax charges. Tony Accordo and Paul Rccca ran the Outfit until 1957 when they turned over day to day control to Sam “Momo” Giancana. \nMuch More Powerful Than Capone!\nSam Giancana would rise to a position much\, much more powerful than the thuggish Al Capone ever dreamt of achieving! \nGiancana feuded with Robert Kennedy as he became the CIA liaison with the Mob. Unlike Capone\,Sam Giancana vastly expanded the operations of the Chicago Outfit into Las Vegas\, into California and became the most powerful Mafia leader in the country. He was connected to JFK through Peter Lawford and Frank Sinatra. According to a number of histories\, he and John F. Kennedy actually shared a mistress in common! Some believe Sam Giancana was behind the murder of JFK. And just before he was set to testify under oath before the Senate\, Sam Giancana was murdered in his home. A home that was under FBI surveillance and “guarded by the police! \nCuba\nWhen the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) planned to assassinate Fidel Castro\, the Agency called on mobster Sam Giancana to oversee the unlawful murder of the Cuban dictator. While the complicated and illegal plot ultimately failed\, the implications were clear.  The CIA was working closely with Sam Giancana – the most important and influential Mafia leader in the USA. J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI only learned of the plot because they were tapping Giancana’s phone and watching him 24/7! \n  \nWomen\nAfter he was widowed\, Sam Giancana carried on a very public romance with super popular\, squeaky clean\, all-American girl Phyllis McGuire. As one of the wholesome McGuire Sisters\, Phyllis projected a sprightly\, virginal image. In reality\, her torrid affair with the leader of the Chicago Syndicate was being listened to and tape-recorded in real time by the FBI!  Before his intense relationship with McGuire\, he consorted with Marilyn Monroe (some say he caused her death) and other famous women.  One of the most fascinating stories involves his relationship with Judith Campbell – who was also a mistress of John F. Kennedy!  She claimed that she arranged meetings and carried messages between the two! The stories are perplexing and fascinating. You will not want to miss this one-of-a-kind multimedia presentation. \n
