His death at a young age propelled and unprepared and timid girl to the most important throne in Europe. \nQueen Elizabeth’s 50 year reign has seen an enormous changes to the monarchy\, the nation she serves in the world at large. We will examine how she has grown in the job despite major stumbles including her epic mishandling of the death of Princess Diana. Her unparalleled life give us great insight into the changes brought about by a rapidly changing world in the wake of World War II.
