In this exciting\, brand-new two-part multimedia presentation\, we will examine all 22 fantastic Oscar-nominated best movies directed by women. \nFrom Penny Marshall and Barbra Streisand to Greta Gerwig and Kathryn Bigelow\, women have directed films that have inspired\, entertained\, or challenged us. Some of the movies are intimate dramas; others are sprawling epics. \nAmong the diverse and fascinating films we’ll examine: \nAnatomy of a Fall \nAwakenings \nChildren Of A Lesser God \nThe Hurt Locker \nLost In Translation \nPromising Young Woman \nZero Dark Thirty \nWe will watch fabulous film clips and amazing behind-the-scenes stories of the productions and examine each film’s cultural significance.
