DESCRIPTION:  \nOur incredible learning community will have a (virtual) Election Day Party! Republican or Democrat\, liberal or conservative\, all are welcome! We will meet at 45 minutes after the hour\, for about 13 minutes) from 11:45 AM to 12:45 AM with expert analysis. Between 5 and 6 PM\, we will have an open forum where you can ask any question of political scientist Kelly Jones-Wagy and me\, share your opinions and learn about the races. Of course\, you do not need to join us for every session – join us to celebrate democracy\, even in an odd year! This will be our celebration of learning\, friendship\, and democracy! \nVirtual Election Day Party: Tentative schedule: (All Times Central) \n11:45 – Wisconsin \n12:45 – Pennsylvania \n1:45 – Georgia \n2:45 – Arizona \n3:45 – Illinois and Alaska \n4:45: Ohio \n5:00 – 6:00 An hour-long open forum with elections expert and award-winning political scientist Kelly Jones-Wagy and me. Before we start getting the first vote totals\, this is your chance to ask about any candidate\, race\, procedure\, or state\, and we will answer live! As time permits\, an open discussion where you can share your views and opinions will be available. \n6:45 – We should have significant results from the East. I’ll break down what we know and don’t know! We will talk about North Carolina\, Kansas\, and Utah races. \n7:45 – We should have significant results from the Midwest. I’ll break down what we know and don’t know! \n8:45 – We should have early results from the Great Plains. I’ll break down what we know and don’t know! \n9:45- We will look at where the race is at as we await votes from the Democratic strongholds on the Pacific Coast.
