SUMMARY:Mark Twain: American Treasure

First and foremost\, he was a great novelist. “Huckleberry Finn” is often called the quintessential American novel and the book that began modern American writing. His other works\, including “Tom Sawyer” & “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court” helped to define American fiction. His short stories are still included in the anthologies used by students more than a century after his death. \nHe is just as well remembered for his amazing wit. Although not a comedian\, his witticisms influenced comic writers from HL Mencken to  Dennis Miller. He was an investor\, public speaker\, friend to presidents and the poor. The amazing\, unparalleled life of Mark Twain will spring to life in this unique multimedia presentation filled with rare video clips\, intriguing insights\, amazing anecdotes and lots of biographical detail.

SUMMARY:Will Rogers: America’s Cowboy Philosopher
DESCRIPTION:Will Rogers: America’s Cowboy Philosopher \nWill Rogers is one of the most popular Americans to have ever lived!  Rogers famously said\, “I never met a man I didn’t like.” And the reverse was true – no one ever seemed to dislike Will Rogers! He was America’s favorite political comic and commentator\,  a major movie star\, an impressively prolific and widely read author\,  a world traveler and clearly the USA’s  most beloved homespun philosopher for the 20 years between 1915 and his untimely death in 1935. \nHe was a modestly educated part Native American cowboy from Oklahoma who wound up charming the world and is still widely quoted today. Will Rogers’ vivid\, folksy\, popular appeal comes brilliantly the life in this multimedia presentation. You’ll be amazed at how contemporary his political commentary still sounds! \nREGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE AT DOOR.
