DESCRIPTION:Cary Grant was one of the most iconic stars in the entire history of classic Hollywood cinema. The man who was born Archibald Leach\, made more than 50 films as a leading man and yet never won a competitive Academy Award!  Cary Grant was the personification of a leading man movie star. Handsome\, talented\, suave\, debonair\, and a star in any film genre\, his place in Hollywood history is assured. \nCary Grant starred in some of the greatest screwball/romantic comedies of the ‘Classic Hollywood era. Films including “My Favorite Wife\,” “The Awful Truth\, “Bringing up Baby\,” “His Girl Friday\,” & “The Philadelphia Story”  are just the tip of the iceberg for his great career in light comedy. \nIn the 1940s\, Grant made several very well-received action pictures. \nAnd then\, in the 1950s\, Cary Grant transitioned into dramatic roles. He was particularly brilliant in “North by Northwest\,” one of Hitchcock’s greatest films.
