SUMMARY:2026 Election Preview
DESCRIPTION:The midterm elections of 2026 will have an immense impact on the last two years of President Donald Trump’s final term. \nIf the Democrats pull off a massive upset and win the Senate\, they have vowed to use their clout to block any Supreme Court nominations. Suppose they win control of the House of Representatives. In that case\, President Trump is unlikely to pass any sweeping changes to economic policy\, the culture wars\, or voting rights. A Democratic House could subpoena Trump officials and launch investigations \nJust as the Democratic wave of 2018 shut down much of the agenda of President Trump’s first term agenda – and twice impeached him – this election could be crucial in establishing how America will deal with many issues over the next two years. \nI will highlight key Senate races across the country that will determine control of the Upper Chamber. We will also look at the elections here in Illinois and examine how this will begin to shape the field for the 2028 presidential election. \n

SUMMARY:2026 Election Preview
DESCRIPTION:Election Eve 2026: What to Watch—and Why It Matters\nMonday\, November 2\, 2026\n6:30–8:00 PM Central Time\nLive on Zoom \nOn the night before one of the most consequential midterm elections in recent history\, join historian and political analyst Barry Bradford for a lively\, comprehensive\, and completely nonpartisan guide to the races that will determine America’s direction. \nThis will not be a generic overview prepared weeks in advance. I will update the presentation continually—right through Election Eve—to reflect the latest polling\, early-voting data\, campaign developments\, and changes in the political landscape. \nTogether\, we will examine: \n\nThe crucial Senate races that could determine control of the chamber\nThe battle for the House of Representatives\nKey gubernatorial elections\nImportant races here in Illinois\nControversies surrounding early voting\nThe results and trends to watch as returns arrive\nMy predictions about the most competitive races\nHow the outcome could begin shaping the 2028 presidential campaign\n\nMost importantly\, you will receive an Election Night viewer’s guide explaining which races to watch\, when polls close\, and which early results may reveal where the election is heading. \nWhy This Election Matters\nThe results will have an immense impact on the final two years of President Donald Trump’s term. \nControl of the Senate will determine the fate of federal judicial nominations—including any potential Supreme Court nomination. Control of the House will profoundly affect legislation\, federal spending\, congressional oversight\, and the administration’s ability to advance its domestic agenda. \nThe Democratic victory in the 2018 midterms dramatically changed the direction of President Trump’s first term. The 2026 election could prove equally important. \nWhether you are a political enthusiast or simply want to understand what to watch on Election Night\, this presentation will prepare you to follow the returns with greater insight and confidence. \nSuggested Contribution\nI request a voluntary contribution of $10. \nHowever\, everyone is welcome. If the cost would prevent you from attending\, please register and join us at no charge. No explanation is ever required. \nCash/Check Payable to Barry Bradford \nBarry Bradford \nP.O. SUMMARY:2026 Election Analysis (Afternoon)
DESCRIPTION:Understanding the Election: What Happened—and Why?\nTuesday\, November 10\, 2026\nTwo Live Zoom Sessions: 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM Central Time\nEach session is 90 minutes \nThe votes have been cast. The campaign commercials have ended. Now comes the most important question: \nWhat did the 2026 election actually tell us? \nOne week after Election Day\, historian and political analyst Barry Bradford will present a comprehensive\, completely nonpartisan analysis of the results—and what they mean for the country’s future. \nBefore the election\, I offered detailed predictions about the battle for the Senate\, control of the House of Representatives\, key races for governor\, and important contests here in Illinois. In this candid follow-up\, I will show you where my predictions were right\, where I was wrong\, and which results surprised nearly everyone. \nMore importantly\, we will move beyond winners and losers to examine what we learned about the American electorate. \nTogether\, we will explore: \n\nWhich party will control the House and Senate\nThe races that decided control of Congress\nThe biggest surprises and upsets\nWhere the polls and political forecasts succeeded or failed\nWhat turnout and early-voting patterns revealed\nHow independents and other crucial voting groups shaped the outcome\nWhat happened in the most important Illinois races\nWhat the results mean for the final two years of President Donald Trump’s term\nHow the election may begin shaping the 2028 presidential campaign\n\nWe will also separate genuine national trends from results driven by individual candidates\, unusual local circumstances\, or a state’s political makeup. \nThis presentation will be updated through the morning of November 10 to include the latest results and developments. If any significant races remain unresolved\, I will explain what remains to be counted\, which candidate appears to have the advantage\, and why the final result may take additional time. \nThere will also be ample time for questions and discussion. \nWhether you attended my Election Eve preview or are joining us for the first time\, this program will give you a clearer understanding of what happened\, why it happened\, and what comes next. \nSuggested Contribution\nI request a voluntary contribution of $10. I have to research and assemble this presentation on very short notice\, combining lots of information. \nHowever\, everyone is welcome. If the cost would prevent you from attending\, please register and join us at no charge. No explanation is ever required. \nAfternoon Session\nTuesday\, November 10\, 2026\n1:00–2:30 PM Central Time \nREGISTER FOR THE AFTERNOON SESSION: Click Here \nCOST\nThe program is available for a suggested contribution of $10.00 to support my work and allow me to continue offering engaging content. \nPAYMENT OPTIONS \nCash/Check\nPayable to: Barry Bradford\nMail to:\nBarry Bradford\nP.O.
