He paid his employees a groundbreaking high wage and employed many African Americans. As the founder of Greenfield Village\, he became an important and persuasive spokesman for preserving America’s cultural history. Through his charitable foundation\, Ford continues to help Americans in many ways. \nYet he was also a controversial and complex man who suffered a nervous breakdown and saw his pioneering company lose astounding sums of money due to his poor business practices. He was an anti-war activist and\, most troublingly\, Ford was deeply anti-Semitic. \nThis unique multimedia presentation will explore Ford’s amazing contributions as well as his controversies and attempts to paint a balanced portrait of “The People’s Tycoon.” \n  \n
