SUMMARY:Black Friday: The Assassination Of Abraham Lincoln
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for some high energy history?\n \nWhen new clients ask me\, “What is your best presentation?” This is the one I point them to. I have been fascinated by the assassination of Abraham Lincoln for as long as I can remember. Unlike so many ridiculous conspiracy theories that float around the Internet\, the murder of Pres. Lincoln was the result of the terrorist conspiracy. You will be amazed by the personalities\, the strange coincidences\, the tragic mistakes and the far-reaching consequences of this successful act of terrorism. \nDrawing on my skills as a historian and as a dramatist\, the dramatic events come to life with an explosive\, clear\, unforgettable focus. You become swept up in the tide of events that would change the nation forever.  This fascinating presentation has earned standing ovations across the USA And I am proud to present it to you. \n \n Want to learn more?\n Click here to read the unexpected fates of the others who were in the box with Pres. Lincoln that night. This short article will give you a glimpse of the strange effects of the assassination. If you are fascinated by Lincoln as a person\, click here to read an article about my favorite movie portrayal of Lincoln \n \nand click here to read my response to truth and fiction in the popular Steven Spielberg “Lincoln” movie.  And you can click here to read about the mind of Lincoln – how he decided to declare a national day of Thanksgiving in the middle of the bloodiest war in American history. \n I promise this will be a presentation you will long remember! \n A Bonus!\nClick here for a real treat. On the old game show\, “I’ve Got a Secret” the last known living witness to the assassination of Pres. Lincoln by the terrorist\, John Wilkes Booth\, made an appearance on February 9\, 1956. While his memory of the events is not reliable\, I still think it is an amazing thing to be able to see! \nPLEASE NOTE: This program is offered through College Of Lake County and registration is required for attendance.

SUMMARY:Robert F. Kennedy - Fallen Leader
DESCRIPTION:Imagine If RFK Had Not Been Shot\n \n  \nThe election of 1968 was a tipping point in American History. Protests over the war in Vietnam. marches for Civil Rights\, demands for change roiled the country.  And then\, just months apart\, Martin Luther King and RFK were murdered.  The Democratic Convention of 1968 descended into chaos\, George Wallace entered the race and Richard Nixon squeaked out a victory. \nNow ask: what would have happened if RFK had not been murdered and had run against Nixon in the general election. We’ll assume that he would have won all the states won by Humphrey.  Then\, it seems reasonable to assume\, he would have won Illinois\, California and New Jersey\, which Humphrey lost despite their strong Democratic tilt.  With those states\, RFK would have been President. \nWhat gun control laws\, civil rights laws and environmental laws would he have championed?  How many men who would die in Vietnam would have lived?  The speculation is fascinating! \nThis probing multimedia biography will explore the growth and development of RFK personality and the amazing events that surrounded his short and meaningful life.

SUMMARY:The Patient Is The President - Deaths And Near Deaths
DESCRIPTION:The assassination of John F. Kennedy shocked the nation. As the mortally wounded President was rushed to Parkland Hospital\, surgeons scrambled to try and save him. When the patient is the President\, the whole nation is watching the every move of the doctors. Since that fateful day in November 1963\, every choice\, action\, and report of the medical team has been scrutinized and second-guessed by professionals and laymen alike. As a result of the historical Monday morning quarterbacking of the public\, every medical treatment of every President since has been reported in minute detail! \nThis unique and fast-paced multimedia presentation will have you enthralled as we watch doctors desperately work to save the lives of Presidents Lincoln\, Garfield\, and Reagan after they were shot. We will also look at how other Presidential health crises were handled (or mishandled) by physicians. For instance\, President John Tyler might well have lived had his doctors simply done nothing at all!  Woodrow Wilson’s crippling stroke was kept secret from the public\, the media\, and even the Congress by his doctor. In each case\, we will look at what was done\, what wasn’t done and whether medicine today might have changed the diagnosis\, treatment or the outcome! \n
