As the events of 2020 showed\, we as a nation we are a world leader in human rights and yet\, America is still a work in progress. \n \nWhy study the Declaration of Independence? Because it is the ultimate statement of what we hope to become. It has been quoted by freedom movements in the USA and around the world. Yet many Americans know surprisingly little about it. In this exciting and thought-provoking multimedia presentation\, I will present the thrilling themes\, difficult negotiations\, contradictory\, complex and charismatic personalities and exciting events that led to the most important moment in American history. \n
