It took a while for NBC to compete with CBS in radio\, but stars like Bob Hope made it possible. The history of NBC in the television years is especially intriguing. The National Broadcasting CompanyThe National Broadcasting Company probably debuted color TV and eventually became a perennial rating champion. \n \nAlong the way\, NBC pioneered morning TV with ” The Today Show\,” and late-night became and NBC’s staple with “The Tonight Show” with multitalented host Steve Allen and later the iconic Johnny Carson.
