The recurring theme throughout Bell’s life was an attempt to open the world of sound to those who were hard of hearing. This included his wife. It also included his mother. \n  \nThe life of Alexander Graham Bell is fascinating for what we don’t know. Had Alexander Graham Bell only invented the telephone\, he would absolutely be worthy of respect for all time.
