Within twelve fascinating years\, the economy had gone from boom to bust\, and the “Roaring Twenties” had given way to the Great Depression. The seemingly perennial GOP majority evaporated with the election of Franklin D. Roosevelt. \nWho were the Republican presidents whose pro-business\, low-tax\, conservative presidencies led to an explosion and then the demolition of the American economy?
