He was America’s favorite political comic and commentator, a major movie star, an impressively prolific and widely read author, a world traveler and clearly the USA’s most beloved homespun philosopher for the 20 years between 1915 and his untimely death in 1935.
He was a modestly educated part Native American cowboy from Oklahoma
