In this session, we will dive into America as it was 75 years ago,
In the tumultuous year of 1948. The baby boom was in full swing; we read the famous “Dewey defeats Truman” headline, and “Uncle Milty” – the one and only Milton Berle – made Americans run out and buy their first television! 1948 brought one of the most exciting upset elections of all time; Israel was born, as was Billy Crystal, Gandhi was assassinated, and the first instant cameras were used.
