Our time capsule is set for 1971 – 50 years ago,
This multimedia presentation explores this important, transitional year. We will look at the famous people who were born or died, the major inventions, what things cost, the most popular television shows and movies, the top songs, fashions, and the most important news stories of 1971.
What were you doing in 1971 – 50 years ago? From the death of the first African American to win the Nobel Peace prize to the first human-made object to circle another planet, from the War in Vietnam and release of the Pentagon papers to the premiere of “All In The Family,” 1971 was a fascinating year!
