Barbara Walters was the first superstar woman television news reporter. Fighting against many barriers, she opened the door for women to be taken seriously as news anchors and news reporters on broadcast television. As the first woman cohost on the today show and the first woman to be co-anchor on the network evening national newscast, Barbara Walters broke many important stories – and smashed the glass ceiling for women in broadcasting. Her career is legendary.  Her life story is amazing.  And this presentation is not to be missed!
