Gracie Allen is one of the funniest women ever to perform in American theater, radio, television and film. And yet if I asked you to name the greatest comedienne’s of all time, you would probably mention names like Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Tina Fey, and Mary Tyler Moore, but you might not remember to include Gracie Allen. that’s a shame, because Gracie Allen deserves immense respect for creating one of the most memorable, quotable and beloved comic characters of all time.

This multimedia presentation will highlight the phenomenal career of George Burns and 
Gracie Allen. We will especially focus on the out-talnted but often underrated Gracie Allen.
Among the highlights will be Gracie Allen’s historic and hysterical run for the Presidency in 1940, her ability to dance beautifully with stars like Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell, and her lasting impact on vaudeville, radio, and television comedy.
