And yet if I asked you to name the greatest comedienne’s of all time, you would probably mention names like Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Tina Fey, and Mary Tyler Moore, but you might not remember to include Gracie Allen.  That’s a shame because Gracie Allen deserves immense respect for creating one of the most memorable, quotable, and beloved comic characters of all time.
