If Not Hillary, Who? The Democrats Look At 2016

The GOP In An Open Field: Trying To Retake The White House

Hillary Clinton - Shattering The Glass Ceiling

As the Presidency of Barack Obama winds down we will take a fast-paced look at the best case scenario for both parties as they attempt to capture the White House.

If Not Hillary, Who? The Democrats Look At 2016 looks at the likely Democratic candidate. Conventional wisdom says that Hillary Clinton will be the nominee.  Sec. Clinton starts with some powerful advantages in the Electoral College and because of her personal brand. However, her election is far from inevitable.

We will examine the best case scenario for the Democrats by looking at the demographic shifts that have led them to win the popular vote in five of the last six presidential elections, speculated on their strategy and potential vice presidential candidates.

“The GOP In An Open Field 2016” looks at the likely GOP candidates. At this writing, the GOP does not have a frontrunner. This is unusual for the Republicans, who almost inevitably have a presumed nominee in mind years before a Presidential Election

The potential GOP candidates are a racially and ethnically diverse field, GOP 2016 much more so than their Democratic counterparts! At least three major Hispanic candidates (Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Susana Martinez) two African-American candidates (Ben Carson and Allen West) a number of talented women (Martinez, Kelly Ayotte, Nikki Haley) and two Indian Americans (Haley and Bobby Jindal) have been mentioned as potential contenders. Add to that mix major powers such as Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Rand Paul, Scott Walker and Paul Ryan) and you have a fascinating field indeed!   We will look at the intriguing and colorful GOP bench in this fast moving multimedia presentation.
