Martin Scorsese is one of my favorite film directors! His greatest work, including: “Raging Bull,” “Taxi Driver,” “The Departed,” “Mean Streets and “GoodFellas” rank among the best American films of all time. 

Although he is widely known – and critically acclaimed – for his films about tough guys in New York City, often starring Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese has also directed biographies of people as diverse as the Dalai Lama and Howard Hughes (“Kundun,” “The Aviator”) period dramas (“The Age Of Innocence”) musicals (New York, New York”) and dcocumentaries (“The Last Waltz”) that have been widely popular and critically acclaimed.
