He was known to one and all as simply: “Uncle Miltie.” Today we explore the long life and unparalleled career of the one and only Mr. Television – Milton Berle! He was the very first superstar of American TV! His ratings were so astronomical that it is said restaurants, clubs, and bowling alleys closed early because everybody wanted to be home in front of their TV when the Milton Berle show was on the air!
For a few unforgettable, whacky 
years, “Uncle Miltie” brought low-brow burlesque, mock hecklers, a crazy series of running gags, and a memorable penchant for dressing in drag to the earliest days of American television. His amazing career and unique, unbelievable personalĀ story will come to life through hilarious film clips and intriguing insights and stories.
