The 1950s are often called The “First Golden Era” of Television! From “I Love Lucy” to Edward R. Murrow, Sid Caesar to live dramas weekly, to game shows, Gunsmoke, and soap operas, the 1950s were the incubator of modern television. This unique multimedia presentation combines clips from many of the most iconic 
shows of the 50s with insightful analysis of how TV reflected and shaped a transformational era in American history and in American popular culture.
