Come and learn the fascinating history of Santa!
Who doesn’t love Santa Claus? Although Santa’s origins can be traced to a religious figure (Saint Nicholas) in Christian lore, over the years Santa Claus has morphed into a universally recognized symbol of kindness, charity, compassion and joy.
In this very unique and utterly fascinating multimedia presentation, we will trace how Santa has evolved over the centuries. We’ll look at how books,
movies, advertising and music have shaped and changed and recreated Santa into the figure we recognize today. Only a Grinch or a Scrooge would not like this wonderful presentation!
Please note – this event is a Lunch and Learn from 11:30a.m. – 1:00p.m. rsvp by 11.25.17. The cost for this program will be $5 for residents and $7.50 for Non-residents.
