The Life Of Teddy Roosevelt (AM)
April 9 @ 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
THIS MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE EVENING PRESENTATION IS OPEN.
Theodore Roosevelt – he loathed being called Teddy – was one of the most dynamic and impactful American presidents. Often considered one of America’s greatest presidents, he’s also one of the most idiosyncratic and complicated. The life of Theodore Roosevelt is a study of contradictions. Theodore Roosevelt was a warrior who was also a peacemaker, a hunter, who was a conservationist, a wealthy man who attacked concentrated wealth, and a Republican who governed as a progressive.
This fast and fascinating multimedia presentation (presented live on Zoom) is an excellent introduction to Teddy Roosevelt’s life.
We will explore the unique circumstances of his background, his unique personality, the defining events that shaped his philosophy, and his unparalleled political influence and impact.
