Ulysses S. Grant – Warrior And President

ulysses grant Civil WarAfter three years of tremendous bloodshed, Union losses and a seemingly endless stalemate , President Lincoln appointed Ulysses S. Grant to head the USA Army. The War was over less than a year later.  Grant saved the Union, crushed the terrorists and helped free millions of people who were the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of kidnap victims from the cruel system that exploited them physically and sexually.  His leadership and vision destroyed a racist rebellion. By devising a brilliant strategy along with General Sherman, winning the complete support and unswerving loyalty of President Lincoln and bravely leading a courageous army, Grant is rightfully ranked along with Washington and Patton as one of our greatest commanding officers. took important steps to rebuild the country, help the exploited and homeless victims to the terrorists and tried advance America’s technological growth. Alas, his administration was mired in scandal.  Yet in recent years, historians have begun to reevaluate his terms as President. His historical reputation has improved. This fascinating multimedia presentation looks at his difficult private life, happy marriage and his invaluable contributions to the USA as a General and as a President.
